We encourage you to make mistakes!
Yes, that’s right! With us, you can be your true self and make as many mistakes as you wish. With SAORI we do not see them as ‘mistakes’ they are part of the creative process promoted by lack of intention. Here nobody will judge you for your weaving skills because we are all learners. Learning is a constant process, and so is SAORI. Even if your thread breaks or you choose to leave it hanging, run out of the colorful thread you were playing with, substitute another colour halfway, or change your mind halfway through a pattern, none of it is right or wrong! You can do whatever you want while enjoying SAORI. There are not many crafts that allow such freedom.
Our most passionate teaching is that your work should be unique and doesn’t look machine-made – and to enjoy that creative journey.
