Knowledge is shared in the group environment and inspiration abounds. It is a healthy way of gaining knowledge by learning together. Here, everyone, regardless of the stage where they are at in their learning level; whether a beginner or a seasoned SAORI weaver, can work together, inspiring each other as they go. Classes are lots of fun, as people share their thoughts, creativity, techniques and journey as they go.
We mentor rather than teach
A true SAORI teacher is actually more of a mentor. Once the basic techniques have been established, it is up to the individual weaver to explore their own SAORI journey of creativity. We make new learners comfortable and confident to make choices regarding colour and texture and to explore their innate creativity that is inside of them.
We appreciate the learning abilities of everyone and do not judge any learner. We understand that each pupil is different, and how much they learn and how fast they grasp may vary from person to person. In a nutshell; There is no right or wrong way to learn!
